Durant une soirée d'Halloween, Sam et Jay proposent de faire une séance de spiritisme. Ils font revenir Molly, la bonne de Hetty et maîtresse d'Elias. La tension étant palpable, Sam décide d'enfermer les deux femmes dans la chambre forte pour qu'elles résolvent leur conflit, mais finit elle-même enfermée par la négligence de Marie-Jeanne...
